Analog Isolator Module

Referencia: MAD-490

Description

The range of MAD-400 modules has been developed to offer a wide and complete range of input and output ports to be used with DETNOV's CAD-150 family of analogue fire control panels. These modules let you manage a wide variety of situations, by monitoring and acting according to the installation's requirements.

The MAD-400 modules have been designed to facilitate their installation process, and they may be installed using screws or fitted into a DIN rail. Each module is equipped with removable terminal blocks and a LED status indicator.

The MAD-490 isolator module protects the system from short circuits in the loop, and its function is to disconnect the loop section between the 2 isolators that are nearest to the short circuit, allowing the rest of the installation to work without trouble. This module does not require any addressing and it does not get an address from the loop.

Features

Simple installation on the wall or fitted into a DIN rail
     Loop-powered device
Connections through removable terminal blocks, and simple fitting of the cable
     EN54-17 approved

Aplications

The MAD-490 unit is ideal for isolating the short circuits in an analogue system loop. The module is usually installed every 32 loop elements to fulfil the EN54 requirements in the event of a short circuit in the communication line.
